By creating an account or using Miyonk (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
To use Miyonk, you must:
We may ask you to verify your age or identity at any time and may suspend or remove your account if we believe you do not meet these requirements.
Miyonk is a social/matchmaking app built around gradual identity reveal: you can start conversations anonymously and choose, together with the other person, when and whether to reveal your real profile to each other. The App also lets you post short-lived Stories that are visible to other adult users and expire after 24 hours. Miyonk is a platform for meeting people — it is not a background-check, identity-verification, or safety-guarantee service, and we do not verify the identity, intentions, or truthfulness of any user.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, on and off the App. Please use good judgment and caution, including when:
Miyonk is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the App, and we do not guarantee that any profile or piece of content is accurate, current, or genuine.
You agree not to:
Miyonk provides tools to block other users and to report content or behavior that violates these Terms, using the categories available in the App (inappropriate content, harassment, fake profile, spam, or other). Blocking a user prevents both of you from finding, messaging, or seeing each other again on the App. We review reports and may take action, including warning, suspending, or permanently disabling accounts, at our discretion.
Stories are public content. A Story you post can be seen by any adult user of the App, including people you have never interacted with, and can be replied to or liked. Do not post anything in a Story that you would not want a stranger to see.
Stories expire and are removed 24 hours after they are posted. Expiry is not a security feature: the App cannot prevent someone from photographing or taking a screenshot of your Story while it is visible, and you should assume that anything you post can be saved by someone else.
Stories are subject to the same rules as any other content under Section 5, and can be reported by any user who sees them. We may remove a Story at any time if it violates these Terms.
Miyonk is for adults only and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). It is strictly prohibited to use the App to create, upload, send, request, or promote any content that sexually exploits or endangers a minor, to impersonate a minor, or to attempt to contact a minor.
We remove such content and permanently disable the accounts responsible, report them to the relevant authorities where required by law, and preserve related records for that purpose. Any user can report this kind of content or behaviour from inside the App using the report function, or by writing to safety@miyonk.com.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
To protect users from spam and abuse, the App applies limits to certain actions — for example, how many new conversations you can start in a day, how frequently you can send messages, and how many Stories you can post. These limits may change over time. Attempting to circumvent them, including by creating additional accounts, is a violation of these Terms.
By you: You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.
By us: We may suspend or permanently disable your account, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unsafe or unlawful conduct, or created risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Where we disable an account, we may retain a record that the account existed and why it was disabled, to prevent the same person from creating a new account to evade enforcement.
You retain ownership of the content you post or send through Miyonk (photos, voice recordings, messages, profile information). By posting or sending content through the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the App's features (e.g., delivering your messages to the person you're chatting with, displaying your profile to other users as configured by your settings). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.
You are solely responsible for the content you post, and you confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not violate these Terms or any third party's rights.
The Miyonk name, logo, and the App itself (excluding user content) are owned by us and may not be copied, modified, or used without our prior written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY OTHER USER IS WHO THEY CLAIM TO BE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, WHETHER ONLINE OR IN PERSON. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING, WHERE APPLICABLE, MANDATORY CONSUMER-PROTECTION RIGHTS IN YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE).
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you additional rights that cannot be waived.
